I do this because I need to take a lot of capsules every day

I know, water, water everywhere, however what kind of water meets my special needs? Over time, I have chosen to drink only water that has been distilled. I’ll tell you why.

I must take many pills each day. When I say a lot, I mean 42-45 pills a day. That’s a lot. I have to make sure that I get down all these pills a few at a time without throwing them up.

For example, I developed osteoporosis and have been required to take natural calcium supplements each day

As a result of the drugs I have been required to use, I now have other aliments. I have to swallow more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. By way of example, I have gotten osteoporosis and have had to swallow calcium pills every day. This is because of all of the Prednisone, because I have had Crohns for two decades. So now I have to get down several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to help with my osteoporosis. This is one reason why I must swallow so many pills each day. When taking my pills, I often find it very hard because of the chemical smell of the water that flows out of our pipes.

I do not understand it, but my town gets water with a very high content of chlorine. The odor is very distinct to me. Quality reports come with the water bill that say the local water gets supplemented with many chemicals. I am often very concerned.

I mean, naturally, there are chemicals in our water, because the water comes from natural places. However, the additives are a problem for me. The water district covers a large area, and they want to make certain that the water is potable. Check out the information that your water company gives you, because you can learn a lot. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I would rather know what is in the water.

With distilled water, I can get down all my drugs and vitamins

One time my brother arrived for a holiday and we talked about water purity. He is on the road quite a bit, and he commented that he travels with distilled and purified water. Why distilled, I questioned? He said that it’s the only water knows he won’t get sick on. Besides, he can purchase distilled, purified water in any market.

I thought that was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. Since his visit, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Due to my health, I now have to take an increased number of pills. In addition to my Crohn’s drugs, I also must take supplements and vitamins, including multivitamins and extra vitamin C along with a pyruvate 1000 calcium supplement following my doctor’s orders.

Due to my Crohn’s, I am very sensitive to smells that make me throw up. So, I’ve decided to use only distilled water, because I must always take all my drugs and vitamins daily.
